Timber Inventory & Appraisal
A timber inventory will determine the volume and value of standing timber, as well as derive other stand level attributes such as species composition and density. An inventory can be a 100% tally of all the trees, which is useful for small areas and marking selection timber sales, or it can be one of several different sampling methods useful for real estate, tax basis, and management planning purposes.
By using specialized forestry measuring tools and advanced forest inventory software (Forest Metrix), we are able to produce accurate and reliable data. The results of the inventory provide the detailed information needed to make sound management decisions and achieve landowner objectives.
